Karen & Rex Grandstaff built a restaurant called Daddy Rex's BBQ where they shared their love of food & BBQ sauce with people. After catering many weddings and seeing how beautiful the weddings & venues were, they bought land in Leonard, TX in Jan. 2015 to build a Venue. They got married after many years of being engaged on June 12, 2015. They started making plans for the venue to be built, but on December 15, 2015 Rex suffered a brain aneurism and passed away on December 19, 2015. With the love of her life gone and not there to work in the restaurant, it wasn't the same, so she sold it in 2017. She then chased their dream of building a Event Venue - where love is celebrated. After much consideration she came up with a name Magnolia Grace Ranch (MGR) turn those letters around backwards you get (RGM) which stands for Rex Grandstaff Memorial. Magnolia Grace Ranch officially opened in 2018.
